It is modeled after commercial espresso grinders found in high traffic coffee
bars, and it can easily see duty as a second (or decaf) grinder in even the
busiest of cafes, and often does.
The Moka's powerful 120W motor delivers more than enough torque thanks to
high quality design and an ingenious gear reduction system that ensures your
beans are ground at precise speeds, delivering extremely consistent grounds.
The flat 55mm burrs (grinding wheels) inside the grinder are true commercial
quality, and should see years and years of use in the home.
The dosing chamber works very well, and is adjustable to deliver between
6 and 9 grams with each click (contingent on the dosing chamber being full of
ground coffee). The machine dispenses straight into a portafilter, the way it
should be with any high quality grinder designed specifically for espresso.
